Despite our very varied field of activity, UV flatbed printing occupies a large place in our production, which is why we recently decided to replace our “Flat Bed” printer.
New and more efficient technologies
Thanks to our new Agfa printer, we are able to print faster without reducing the print quality. Given the large dimensions of the printing bed, our press operators can alternately print on the two areas. While printing on one, you can change the material on the other area. This therefore avoids stopping the machine when replacing the sheets.
Here is a video demonstrating how it works and how effective it is:
Flatbed UV printing on a wide variety of materials
With the size of the print bed, we can print on a wide variety of products. In addition, thanks to a material thickness of up to 5cm / 2 inches, the possibilities are numerous.
Here is a list of materials used frequently on our flatbed printer:
- Coroplast
- Styrene
- ABS
- PVC sheets
- Acrylic (Plexiglass)
- Wood
- Pet-G
- Stratified
- Smooth cardboard
- Corrugated cardboard
Superior UV printing technologies!
By renewing our equipment, it goes without saying that technology improves. In addition to the speed and quality of printing, new processes are also added.
Printing of layers of primer to increase ink adhesion
Adding a layer of “primer” gives us the opportunity to get a superb adhesion on the material.
White printing
We can of course always print layers of white under the print to maximize color fidelity.
